The Process We Used to Evaluate
The Uppababy Vista stroller is a smooth-rolling, easy-steering stroller that is compatible with any car seat adapter. We tested the Uppababy Vista stroller in two different configurations, as a travel system with the infant seat adapter and as a stand-alone stroller with the car seat removed.
To test the travel system, we installed an infant car seat (the Graco SnugRide 30) and a toddler car seat (the Chicco KeyFit 30) in the stroller and took them out for a day of errands. To test the stand-alone stroller, we installed both infant seats and toddler seats in the stroller and took them out for a day of errands.
Then, we assessed how easy it was to install both types of seats, how well they stayed put, and how easy it was to maneuver the stroller with them installed. We also factored in whether or not there were any compatibility issues with accessories such as infant car seat adapters, toddler car seat adapters, travel canopies, and snack trays.
To test the caddies, we installed the two infant seats and two toddler seats on the stroller and took them out for a day of errands. Then we assessed how easy it was to fit our items into each caddy, how easy it was to install the caddies themselves, how well they stayed on the stroller, and how easy it was to remove them. We also factored in any compatibility issues by testing things like water bottles, diaper bags, storage pouches, drink cups, sippy cups, snacks containers, and snack trays.
We also ran each caddy through our drop tests—we dropped each one from chest height (about 4 feet) onto a hard floor several times in a row to see if it would stay in one piece or if anything would come loose or fall out.
After we finished our testing, we washed everything that had come into contact with babies or drinks and then checked each caddy for any missing pieces or broken parts.

Things to Keep in Mind Before Buying
I read through a lot of owner reviews and looked at safety ratings from the JPMA and Consumer Reports. Then, I considered the following criteria:
Storage Capacity
The caddy should have enough space for the essentials you need to carry on a walk. A few owners mentioned that their caddies held too much stuff and caused them to trip, so we sought smaller models.
But it’s also nice if your stroller accessory can hold plenty of stuff so that you don’t need to bring extra bags or pick up every time your kid drops something.
Ease of Attachment/Detachment
You want the caddy to be easy to attach and detach with minimal tools or fuss. The best models have clamps that are easy to open and close with one hand, or even just by tugging on a strap—as opposed to requiring two hands or tools.
